Week 13, Apr. 27 - May 3

Michelle went back to work this week, starting Apr. 27th (Wednesday). I flew to Houston on business, and Grandma Blackwell flew in to help with baby duty.

It was also Michelle's birthday on May 3rd. Happy birthday, sweetheart!

Michelle's mom was a big help while I was out of town. Here she is changing a diaper and hugging her grandbaby.

Lily learned to hold Lola's arm with her two legs, so that the hand holding her pacifier in wouldn't get away!

Here's Mommy holding Lily. Our daughter is learning to grab things, including Mommy's nose and mouth!

When I got back from Houston, I brought Lily a stuffed armadillo from the airport gift shop. His name is Army.

Lily usually points her head at the television when it's on, just like her parents who watch TV all evening. Here she is checking out Will Smith in Independence Day.

We bought a toy pony that neighs and moves its head and tail. We thought it was pretty cool, but she doesn't look too excited about it here.

One great feature of our new digital camera is that it can record short Quicktime movies, including audio. Here she's laughing while Mommy plays with her. If you have Quicktime or RealPlayer or another browser plug-in that handles .mov files, you can click on this picture to view the movie. (I view it with Mplayer or Kaffeine in Linux.) You can go here to download the Quicktime plug-in from Apple's website.
