Week 17, May 25-31

Lily came to visit Michelle and her friends at work on Friday. Pictured here are Belinda and
Melisa with Lily; Alison with Madeline; Madeline and Lily (Suzanne and Johno
are their "chairs"); and Cameron, sticking close to his Mom.

We bought a new stand-alone jumper toy, which Lily likes. It's a good height for her,
because she can stand in it pretty well. She's not tall enough to bounce in it yet.

Here's a Quicktime movie of Lily chatting away in her new jumper. If you can't view it
easily in your browser, you can download the movie here or
right-click on the picture above and select "Save Link As..." (or something similar).

We also bought a Build-A-Bear (or rather "Frog"), named Ribbit. We thought a frog was
fitting for her room, which is called the Lily Pad.

I think Lily's new favorite toy is her walker from last week. She can shuffle around in it
and hits some of the noisemakers. She likes this toy plus her two jumpers and her Baby Bjorn
-- all things that let her stand upright! (Okay, she can't stand in Baby Bjorn, but
she's still upright.) Meanwhile, she's getting impatient with her previous-favorite bouncer,
which forces her to lean back against her will.

Michelle started spoon-feeding Lily some rice cereal. She didn't eat much, but we'll start
introducing it slowly.

Here are two outfits from this week. The one with the jeans is one I finally like!! Most of
the others are too frilly.

We don't have much trouble getting her to look at the camera. Maybe that's because we
point it at her so much!
