Week 18, June 1-7

We went to Babies R Us on Saturday to buy a few practical things, but came home with
a bunch of toys. One of them is this little girl frog
that sings "Hi, I'm Lily, and you can count on me,"
followed by different counting songs. It was too cute to leave in the store!

I bought this toy to help Lily practice walking. I'm jumping the gun a little, I know! She was happy
playing with it though. Plus, as she discovers in the third picture, you can eat it too.

Here we see the entire life cycle of a new toy in four pictures:
(1) What's this thing? (2) Wow, that's cool! (3) Yawn. (4) Okay, bored now.

We used to have an exercise room here, but now we've shoved the exercise equipment against the wall and
filled the place up with toys. (Sigh! Who has time to exercise now anyway?) We also bought a new
Pack-and-Play for this room so she can sleep here. This is her third Pack-and-Play, and she has a
bassinet and a crib, so five babies could sleep comfortably in our house! If you add in all her toys,
we could open our own day care center!

We added links to her swingset-shaped toy and removed the toys hanging off the ends,
because she seems to like grabbing the links better. She looks like she's exercising at a gym now.
Pull on those links, Lily! No pain, no gain! She managed to break one link off in the third
picture.

These are outfits Daddy likes. The "Hunny" sleeper is already too hot for
summer now that she fits into it, so we'll have to give it away. But the jeans fit
just fine and look cool!

Mommy and Lily wore matching pink outfits!

Lily got a report card from day care, listing all the developmental milestones they're checking,
like looking at lights and turning to locate sounds. I've been very happy with this day care center.
We can tell the infant room staff likes Lily and treats her well.

We bought a used car to replace Odie. It's a 2003 Suzuki Aerio. We named him
Lunar Eclipse, or Loony for short. See that baby shade in the backseat window? Yep, we're parents.
