Week 44, Nov. 30 - Dec. 6

We took Lily to a new portrait studio for her 9-month photos (we're late -- she's 10 months old).
It's called Portrait Innovations, and it's much better than the other places we went. They took 92 photos,
and they print the pictures out for you before you leave. (At J. C. Penney's they took 12 photos and
you get the pictures a week later.) They also gave us a CD of the full-size digital images.

Now that Lily's standing more, we added legs to her music toy, and now
she plays with it more. It's close enough to her other standing toy that
she can sometimes move from one to the other without crawling.

If she gets hot while she's sleeping, sweat makes her hair stick out everywhere!
Michelle messed her hair up even more in the third picture.

These are some new footy pajamas we bought. The weather here's starting
to get too cold to sleep in a onesy. ("Onesy" is one of those words
that only parents know, so we can identify each other in mixed company.)

Lily crawled into her toy tub to play! After all, that's where all the fun stuff is.

Whoops, it looks like we'll have to start keeping things off the table! Lily's reach is getting
farther. We also took off the tablecloth, because she was tugging on it to pull in the things she
couldn't reach!

Though she doesn't normally like being strapped in or restrained anywhere, Lily
seems to like being in her high chair now, and happily eats her Cheerios and vegetable puffs
by herself. This frees us up to eat our own dinner, which is nice!

She's happy playing on the floor by herself most of the time, which also
gives us a break.

Lily has been blowing raspberries this week! Ppbblth! Ppbblth! (I'm not sure
how you spell the sound.) In the last photo you can see her two front teeth
starting to stick our more.

Here's cousin Becca with Aunt Carrie. Notice the sleepy Mom and the wide-awake baby!
