Week 6, Mar. 9-15
On Saturday we drove to St. Jude and took Lily out in the stroller. This was one of
several car trips we took mostly as a break for ourselves, because Lily falls to sleep
easily in the car! (Most babies do, based on our friends' advice.)
Here's Lily in her bassinet, and staring at the mobile above it. She still doesn't
pay much visual attention to most objects, but does occasionally look
at the animals in the mobile and the toys hanging on her bouncer.
If she falls asleep in your lap, just stay put! Do you really have to go to
the bathroom? Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can!
She's had a few smiles this week, including this little one.
Sometimes she'll stay quiet in her bassinet even when she's wide awake,
and just looks around. It may only last ten minutes, but that's
long enough so you can finally run to the bathroom!
