Week 9, Mar. 30 - Apr. 5

On Thursday Mar. 31st, Lily had to get her immunization shots at the pediatrician's office. We thought we had heard her maximum screaming capacity before, but we were wrong! Luckily, she calmed down on the way home. The colorful band-aids on her legs are her battle scars.

We do baby exercises every couple of days. Here we're practicing standing some more. Her shirt says, "If you think I'm cute, you should see my Grandma"!

Michelle noticed that Lily liked her bouncer at day care much more than the one we had at home, so we bought a new one, and it made a huge difference. She really likes playing in the new one. It has a mirror, and animals light up in the mirror when she hits the hanging toys or kicks her feet.

We also bought a new swing, which moves from side to side rather than front to back. It required some assembly by Daddy (ulp!). She was cranky on Tuesday evening (Apr. 5th), but when we put her in the new swing, she fell asleep in about 10 minutes and stayed asleep for hours! (She didn't like the old swing at all.)

Mommy dressed her in purple with a little bow. Dressing her in cute outfits is part of the reason for having a baby, right?
